We are a family that loves to DIY and make all things by hand. This shop was set up so we can share our creations with our friends, family and the world!
We believe in using simple, gentle ingredients that are safe for babies, sensitive skin and everyone else in between. Everything is vegan, cruelty-free and biodegradable.
The products themselves have simple formulas but are very effective and all-purpose. Soaps can be used on your hands, face, body, hair (although we do no-poo😉); on dishes, laundry, kitchen counters and anything else you could think of. There is really no need to purchase 10 different soaps plus shampoo + conditioner and use chemical detergents that are not skin-safe.
If you have sensitive skin or allergies, we recommend you do a patch test before using any products on your skin.
P.S. – if you have any special requests for a specific product we would be more than happy make it just for you 😊
Our shop is not for financial gain nor to make a name for the brand. If anything we want to share the joy we ourselves get from making and using the products. So yes, we welcome you to ‘name your price’ and pay however much you feel the products are worth to you and your life. By the way, you will also have to pay postage and packaging costs.

We are endeavoured to being transparent and in sharing our skills and knowledge with you. There are no secret recipe or hush-hush formulas.
In fact, we have a tutorial website (gentlelivingshop.org) where we publish recipes, videos and PDF guides for free for you without ads as we believe knowledge should be accessible to everyone.

We also ‘handcrafted’ this website! It uses WordPress.org with the theme Astra (free version). The shop elements you see are created with WooCommerce and we process payments using Stripe. We love supporting open-source software and we make it a general rule to not pay for extras or ‘pro’ versions of anything.
